This season you will find handcrafted felted wool hats by Vermont Hats at the Reading (Vermont) Holiday Craft Fair. The Reading Holiday Craft Fair is December 1, 2018 from 9am-2pm. It is located at the Reading Town Hall and admission is free!

Combine fall foliage viewing and harvest activities with purchases from local artists across Vermont.

Vermont Hats will be participating in the Vermont Crafts Council Open House Tour for fall of 2018. We are Studio #30 located at 205 VT Rte 103 S in Mt. Holly.

Bright yellow signs compete with oranges and reds of October along Vermont’s roads enticing visitors to the studios of craftspeople and fine artists across Vermont during the 2018 Fall Open Studio Tour over October 13 & 14. The Vermont Crafts Council is coordinating their event with American Craft Week, a national celebration of craftwork, taking place from October 5 through October 14. Open Studio Weekend is a statewide celebration of the visual arts and creative process, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to meet a wide variety of local artists and craftspeople in their studios, and purchase high quality, handmade artwork.

The self-guided Open Studio tour features the work of glassblowers, jewelers, printmakers, potters, furniture makers, weavers, ironworkers, painters, sculptors, quilt makers, and wood carvers. Many participating galleries will host gallery talks and feature special exhibits in conjunction with this event.

The Vermont Crafts Council publishes a free map with directions to participating sites. The Fall Open Studio Map is available throughout the state at Tourist Information Centers, galleries and studios. It is also available on the VCC website or by calling 802-223-3380

You can find Vermont Hats at the 35th Annual Weston Craft Show October 5 – 7, 2018.

The Weston Craft Show is a juried exhibit of exceptional Vermont artisans, representing works in baskets, ceramics, folk art, glass, jewelry, lighting, paper, fiber, leather, mosaics, pastels, sculpture, wearable art, and wood.

The show takes place at the Weston Playhouse at 703 Main Street in Weston VT 05161.Free parking is available on Route 100 at the North end of the village of Weston. It is open 10 am – 5 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 5, 6 and 7. General adult admission is $8 and is good for all 3 days of the show (children under 16 are free).

Stop down and pick out a beautiful, new felted wool hat just in time for fall/winter!
